Q1: What stainless steel grades are available for this cannula needle with luer connector?
A1: We mainly supply medical grade 304 and 316L stainless steel. 316L is highly recommended if the needle contacts body fluid, pharmaceutical liquid or chemical reagent for better anti-corrosion performance. Special material is acceptable per your drawing, which will lead to higher cost and longer production lead-time.
Q2: What surface finish options are available for this luer cannula needle?
A2: Ra ≤0.2μm high polishing is our standard finish for liquid flow applications to reduce liquid residue. Ra0.8-1.0μm ordinary surface finish is available as an economical option if ultra-high smoothness is not required.
Q3: Which parameters of this cannula needle can be customized?
A3: Cannula outer diameter, inner diameter, total length, tip bevel angle, luer connector type and assembly structure are all customizable within our processing scope, following ±0.02mm dimensional tolerance. Please provide technical drawing for feasibility assessment.
Q4: How do you eliminate burrs on the needle tip and tube orifice?
A4: After tube cutting and tip forming, multi-step internal and external deburring and cleaning processes will be implemented. Every finished needle will be inspected to remove micro-burrs, avoiding particle contamination and extra damage in puncture.
Q5: Can you supply custom samples? What items should be confirmed before sample production?
A5: Custom samples are supported for equipment assembly and puncture performance test. Before sample order, we need to confirm material grade, cannula dimension parameters, luer connector specification and surface finish requirement. Sample cost is calculated based on processing complexity, mass production can start after sample specification confirmation.
